Quick Response Teams
The purpose of the Quick Response Team (QRT) is to promote community agency engagement to nonfatal overdose victims and provide information related to local resources for treatment, recovery, and offer Peer Support services. QRTs consist of a health department individual, a designated person from Police or Fire (varies by community), and a Peer Support Specialist. Harm reduction tools are also made available. If contact is not made, information is left behind in a secure location.
